Dr. Jonas Ashbaugh is a general dentist with passion for life, family and dentistry. Dr. Ashbaugh graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Microbiology. He then moved his talents and family to Columbus, OH to become a Buckeye and received his DDS in 2012. Following graduation, Dr. Ashbaugh spent four years serving as an officer in the U.S Army and providing dental care to our soldiers traveling home and overseas. In 2016, he finally returned home to Jacksonville, FL. Proudly, he is happy to call Jacksonville, FL his home. Jonas is a practicing dentist who completed a startup in Jacksonville, Florida. In this episode, Jonas tells his startup journey from learning everything he could about Startups (while still in the military), demographics, construction setbacks, hiring and training team members and many more important things that he learned throughout the process! James is the Co-Founder and COO of Lendeavor, a direct lending company that uses speed, simplicity, and expertise to help buyers with practice and real estate loans. As Chief Operating Officer, James leads business development and operations for Lendeavor. James architected the company’s complex lending infrastructure, and in just one year he drove loan originations from zero to over $100,000,000 in annual run rate.
 
Prior to joining Lendeavor, James was an attorney and a touring musician, and he graduated Magna Cum Laude at University of Minnesota Law School. James and his co-founder Dan Titcomb started Lendeavor in 2014 from a one bedroom apartment in San Francisco.

This is a unique episode because George and Graham discuss and analyze a sample practice. They give the listeners an inside look of how buyers should be looking at potential practices. Graham Dersley studied at Columbia University. He also completed a 3-year residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Maryland. Dr. Dersley is the Co-Founder of Practice on Fire.  He is a prosthodontist who has experienced the real world trials and tribulations of purchasing, starting up and managing multiple practices.  He currently owns and operates two startup practices in Maryland and his clinical focus is on dental implantology.  He has experienced practicing in a variety of settings, including high end fee for service and high volume medicaid.
