Welcome to back to the Shared Practices Podcast! This week George continues his interview with Dr. Todd Peterson. Todd gives his insight into the challenges that his practice faced with rapid growth - averaging 120 new patients per month! Startups can be romanticized and dentists might get discouraged hearing all the success stories. George and Todd emphasized that dentists need a plan that is well thought out about how they can scale and grow a startup. Trent talks with Jonas about his journey to practice ownership and starting up a practice from scratch. They discuss Trent’s struggles and give tips for starting up a scratch practice.

Dr. Trent McCord grew up in Northwest Arkansas. He attended college at William Jewell College in Kansas City, MO, where he met his wife, Sara. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
